Wendy Cummins

Wendy’s life-long love of being outdoors in the natural environment is her creative muse. She is a mostly self-taught artist with a drawing-based practice and a fascination for material and texture which results in works of many mediums and methodologies. Wendy describes her recent work with felted wool as 'drawings in wool' to relate the process of building layers of colour, line and texture. It is in this process of slow, meditation and tactile creativity that she achieves a strong and satisfying connection to her work and nature.
