Helen studied at National Art School and has lived in Clareville for 34 years. Her work focuses on the natural world that surrounds her and includes extensive drawings of her Burmese cat, Clarissa. Drawing forces me to see the relationship between lines. These paintings and drawings of cats and are purely because they were at hand and they do not move very much.
